Gather together two sets of clothing that you think would look good on a scarecrow. For example: two pairs of big shoes or slippers, two pairs of jeans, two plaid shirts, and two straw hats—or whatever you can find at your local second-hand store.

Give the first runner on each team a suitcase or bag with the scarecrow getup. At the signal "go," each participant will pull on all the clothes over their existing clothes and race to a goal on the opposite side of the room or field. The person will then take off all the scarecrow clothes, put them back in the suitcase or bag, and run back to the start where the next person will repeat the process.
